DESIGN
A design degree is perhaps one of the most diverse degrees that you can study - they can range from graphic design, fashion design, design engineering, digital design, product design and interior design. Design is not just about something looking good, it also encompasses functionality, practicality, durability and utility. The designs we surround ourselves with shape who we are and what we value. In its purest form, design is the expression of human artistry and pragmatism. The main types of design courses on offer in the UK are graphic design and product design - however, there are more specialist courses available at universities.
